The wiki is still very young. I am wondering if it would be useful to create a couple of informational pages which offer some more specific guides (not rules, but guides) to give people an idea of what kinds of things they can add. The "orientation" is fine for the how-to, but the "what" might seem a little daunting to newcomers.
I think it is also worth considering creating, or selecting some site templates to use for specific types of articles, like lists and glossaries, so that the formatting issues don't need to be rethought and recreated each time a new article is added.
What are everyone else's thoughts on this?
And if we all decide that this information would be helpful, is there a way on wetpaint to have this in the background (like Wikipedia does) for people who work on the the wiki, without it being mixed in with the momblogging articles and confusing those who just come here to read?

We'd love to have some informational pages. Thing is, we're pretty new at the wiki thing and have no idea how to do it. Write back and let me know what you're willing to do because we have no clue :)
